Eastern Railway will run additional local and express trains for the state joint examination

30th April i.e. Sunday Joint Entrance Examination in the state. Eastern Railway has decided to run additional local trains for the joint entrance test in Bengal. Eastern Railway informed on Thursday that additional local trains will be run in the Sealda division due to a joint examination in the state on 30th April.

On Sundays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (the time of departure of the train from the peripheral station), those trains which are canceled by local trains will run.

This exam will be conducted in two shifts. The examination will start at 11 am in the first shift. The second shift exam will start at 2 pm. Eastern Railway has decided to run a pair of special express trains between Howrah and Patna, as additional local trains will be run in the Sealdah division of the trial till 4 pm.

1) 03252 Patna-Howrah Special Train:

A special train will leave Patna at 2 pm on Saturday (April 29). Which will reach Howrah at 11:45 PM.

2) 03251 Howrah-Patna Exam Special Train:

A special train will leave Howrah on Sunday (30th April) at 11 pm. Which will reach Patna at 10 am the next day.

Incidentally, both the Up-Down trains will halt en route at Bakhtiarpur, Mokamo, Lukkesrai, Keul, Jhajha, JCD, Madhupur, Chittaranjan, Asansol, Durgapur, Burdwan, and Bandel stations. The special train will have general coaches (second class), sleeper class, and AC coaches.

Meanwhile, tickets for the 03251 Howrah-Patna Exam Special train are available at railway station ticket counters and online. As it is a special train, the extra fare has to be paid. Bookings cannot be made at that time.
