About 29 thousand teachers of the state have been asked to show cause

Due to the absence of the strike on March 10, the Board of Secondary Education is continuously mourning the teachers. As of March 25, that number was 22,856. This time that number increased to around 29 thousand. According to Madhya Shiksha Parshad sources, 28 thousand 704 teachers have been mourned so far due to the absence of strike on 10th March.

Board officials claim that there is virtually no precedent for such a large number of teachers to be grieving for absenteeism due to strikes in recent times. A reply has been sent from so many teachers stating the reasons for absence within seven days.

According to the sources of the board, the number of bereaved teachers is increasing in view of the continuous reports that the DIs are sending. According to the board sources, the last letter of Shokaj was issued till Wednesday. Of these, most Nadia district teachers have been mourned. The list of strike absentees was sent to the council by the DIs of various districts in view of the DA issue of March 10. In that context, so many teachers are saddened by the board sources.

In addition to Nadia district, North 24 Parganas, Murshidabad district, a significant number of teachers have also been bereaved. On March 10, a strike was called by the Sangamri Joint Manch based on the DA issue. And the board practically finished the process of grieving the teachers who were absent during the strike. Reply has already started to be submitted to the DIs. However, according to the board sources, no decision has been taken about the next step. Board officials claim that this mourning is being done in accordance with the guidelines of the state finance department. However, according to the guidelines of the finance department, if all the answers are not correct, the concerned teachers may face departmental investigation.
